Store Leader Onboarding Guide
Welcome to Closed Loop by Micro-Pak®
This guide will help you set up your account, learn how to use your Dashboard, and understand how to order, fill, and return Collection Boxes so your store can start recycling with confidence.
1. Set up your account
You’ll receive an email invitation to join Closed Loop. For the best experience, we recommend using Google Chrome on a desktop or laptop rather than a mobile device.
Open the email and click Accept Invite.
Set your password and add your name.
Moving forward, you can log in at app.micropakclosedloop.com. Once you’re signed in, you’ll have secure access to your company’s Dashboard.
Your role as Store Leader
As a Store Leader, you’ll manage your store’s participation in Closed Loop. Your responsibilities include:
One-time set up of your store account
Choosing your monthly subscription
Ensuring your team fills Collection Boxes with approved materials
Ordering additional Collection Boxes when needed
Ensuring UPS receives filled, sealed Collection Boxes
Monitoring recycling progress and impact through your Dashboard
Corporate Admins oversee billing, permissions, and regional setup.
3. Dashboard overview
Your Dashboard is the hub for managing your store’s recycling activity.
Main sections include:
Dashboard: View your store’s total boxes recycled, total weight, and shipment status.
Collection Boxes: Order new boxes and track boxes in use or awaiting pickup.
History: Review all completed recycling activity.
Reports: See your store’s total recycled weight and impact over time.
Support: Access tutorials or report an issue directly from your Dashboard.
4. Ordering Collection Boxes
Set up a subscription: The fastest and easiest way to receive boxes each month. Each store manages its own subscription.
When you first log in, you'll see a Subscription Status tile and option to Set Up Subscription.
You can choose how many Collection Boxes (in 5-Pack quantity) your store wants to receive each month.
If your store is running low on Collection Boxes, you can place a one-time order directly from your Dashboard once your subscription is set up. Order early based on your store’s allocation and replenishment volume. Each additional order includes a Collection Box 5-Pack.
Using Collection Boxes
You’ll find a printed instruction card inside each Collection Box 5-Pack to help quickly train new team members.

Open the box: Stand a folded box upright. The flaps with folds indicate the top. Twist the sides to open. The bottom locks into place automatically. Make sure it's fully secure before filling.
Fill it up: Only include clear #4 LDPE (Individual-Use Polybags, Polybag Carton Liners, Micro-Pak PE Sheets) and or clear #4 LLDPE (Stretch Wrap / Film, Pallet Wrap). Do not include opaque bags, trash, paper, cups, or colored plastics. Press materials down tightly. Fill to the top.
Seal the box: If tabs are holding the top flaps in place, gently tear them. Fold down the flaps and tape the box closed.
Ship it: Hand the sealed Collection Box to your UPS driver during your regular store pickup, or drop it off at any UPS location. Each box comes with a UPS return label already attached. Closed Loop handles the rest.
Track your impact: Easily track your shipments from your Closed Loop Dashboard. Everything you return goes to a verified recycling facility and is transformed into something new.
Tracking and reporting
Once your boxes are picked up, you can track their status in your Dashboard. You’ll also see your total recycled weight and how your store contributes to company-wide sustainability goals.

Once your account is set up and your first box order is placed, your store is ready to start recycling. Closed Loop is designed to make sustainability simple, measurable, and part of your everyday operations.
